Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has undergone surgery on his left knee. The hospital and sources within Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have revealed to Cricbuzz that the operation went well and Dhoni is perfectly fit. Initially it was expected that he would be remain in hospital for two more days, but late in the evening it emerged that Dhoni had been discharged.
CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan revealed that he spoke to Dhoni after the surgery on Thursday morning. “I spoke to him after the operation. I cannot explain what the surgery is about but we have been told it is a key-hole surgery. He sounded fine in our conversation,” the CSK official confirmed.
