Lucknow, Vatsal Verma: With the objective of ensuring the successful, safe, and organized conduct of cricket matches scheduled at Ekana Stadium Lucknow, the organizers and the BCCI have issued detailed rules and regulations regarding entry into the stadium. The aim of these guidelines is to provide spectators with a safe, disciplined, and enjoyable experience.
According to the issued directives, it is mandatory for every ticket holder to present their valid ticket at the time of entry into the stadium. Entry gates will open approximately 3 hours prior to the start of the match, or as per the schedule determined by the organizers. Entry will be denied in cases where a ticket is unreadable by the scanning machine or if its barcode has been tampered with. Each ticket is valid for one person only, and re-entry is not permitted. Spectators must keep their tickets safe with them at all times while inside the stadium and must present them upon request by the organizers or security personnel.

Bringing any kind of prohibited items into the stadium is strictly forbidden. These items include bottles, coins, headphones/earbuds, cups, glasses, lighters, tins or cans, musical instruments, portable speakers, flammable or hazardous substances, fireworks, weapons, helmets, bags, laptops, tablets, power banks, etc. Additionally, any object that could pose a threat or cause inconvenience to other spectators is also prohibited.
Banners, flags, posters, or other materials bearing any commercial, political, religious, or objectionable messages are not permitted inside the stadium. Only the National Flag of India—devoid of any commercial or promotional messaging—is permitted to be carried.
Food items and alcohol are not permitted inside the stadium. Smoking is strictly prohibited within the stadium premises.
Any form of recording, live broadcasting, data transmission, or commercial activity is strictly prohibited inside the stadium. The broadcasting or sharing of match-related information, videos, audio, or statistical data without prior permission shall be deemed a violation of the rules. Any form of abusive, offensive, racist, discriminatory, or threatening language and behavior will not be tolerated. In such instances, the individual concerned may be evicted from the stadium, and legal action may be initiated against them. Furthermore, entering the playing field or throwing any objects is strictly prohibited.
It is also clarified that the time, date, or venue of the match may be subject to change as deemed necessary. A refund of the ticket price (less administrative charges) will be issued only if the match is cancelled for any reason or if not a single ball is bowled. Under no other circumstances will a refund be provided.
Neither the BCCI nor the organizers shall be held liable, under any circumstances, for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages incurred during the match. The sole responsibility for any personal belongings left unattended anywhere within the stadium rests entirely with the owner. In this regard, the ticket holder waives the right to make any claims whatsoever. Additionally, spectators are urged to adhere to the guidelines and enjoy the match in the true spirit of the game.

Entry to the stadium is free for children up to two years of age. For children older than two years, a separate ticket is mandatory. All individuals under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult and remain under their supervision throughout the duration of their stay; the accompanying adult must also possess a valid match ticket.
LSG has introduced the ‘m-Ticket’ facility for the first time, allowing cricket enthusiasts to book their tickets via the BookMyShow app. By scanning the QR code displayed on the m-Ticket at the stadium gates, spectators can gain quick and hassle-free entry. The team management has stated that m-Tickets can be booked online, thereby sparing spectators the inconvenience of standing in queues at the ticket counters. Should an individual be unable to attend the match personally for any reason, they have the option to transfer their m-Ticket to a close associate up to three hours prior to the commencement of the match. To facilitate this, an option to ‘Transfer Ticket’ will be provided within the m-ticket interface, located beneath the QR code. Clicking on this option will open the user’s contact list, allowing them to send the ticket to a specific contact.

Once the recipient opens the message received from BookMyShow and accepts the request, the m-ticket will become visible on their mobile device. Upon the successful transfer of the ticket, it will cease to be displayed on the original holder’s mobile phone.
On the day of the match, separate queues will be arranged at all stadium gates for women, the elderly, and children, ensuring that they do not face any inconvenience.
