BCCI Names Muthoot FinCorp as Title Sponsor for the next two home seasons

New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced Muthoot FinCorp Limited as the Title Sponsor for India’s home cricket, with the partnership extending until March 2028. The agreement will cover all international series and tournaments played in India, along with domestic competitions organised by the BCCI. The partnership brings together Muthoot FinCorp’s extensive presence across the country and the nationwide popularity of Indian cricket. The company’s distinctive blue also creates a strong visual association with India’s Men’s and Women’s teams, popularly known as the “Men in Blue” and “Women in Blue.” Through the partnership, Muthoot FinCorp will have the opportunity to engage with cricket fans across the country through India’s national teams and major domestic tournaments. The association will begin with India’s first ODI against the West Indies in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday.

BCCI President Mithun Manhas said the partnership reflects the reach and strength of Indian cricket.

“Indian cricket’s home season brings together the national teams, domestic competitions and players at different stages of their journey. Muthoot FinCorp’s association as Title Sponsor reflects the strength and reach of Indian cricket and the connection it has with people across the country.”

He added that the two brands share a natural visual connection through their blue identity and said the BCCI looked forward to building a strong association with Muthoot FinCorp. BCCI Honorary Secretary Devajit Saikia said the home season represents the complete structure of Indian cricket, from senior national teams and India A to age-group sides and domestic competitions.

He welcomed Muthoot FinCorp’s involvement across this broad cricketing platform and said the partnership would support opportunities for players while bringing high-quality cricket to fans across India. BCCI Vice President Rajeev Shukla highlighted the importance of domestic tournaments such as the Ranji Trophy, Duleep Trophy, Vijay Hazare Trophy and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in developing players who aspire to represent India.

He further said Muthoot FinCorp’s association with domestic cricket would allow the company to be part of the journey of players at different stages of their careers while connecting with cricket audiences nationwide. BCCI Treasurer A. Raghuram Bhat said the continued interest of leading brands in BCCI cricket demonstrates the strength and nationwide reach of Indian cricket. He added that the partnership covering both international and domestic cricket reflects the wide range of opportunities available to sponsors.

BCCI Joint Secretary Prabhtej Bhatia said India’s home season gives fans the opportunity to remain connected with cricket throughout the year, from international matches and domestic competitions to the emergence of young players.

It will also cover major domestic competitions, including the Ranji Trophy, Irani Cup, Duleep Trophy, Vijay Hazare Trophy, Deodhar Trophy and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
