New Delhi: Actress and former Indian Netball team captain Prachi Tehlan has expressed support for students protesting at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. Sharing visuals and her thoughts on social media, she said ”
I went because I was restless.. and everything I saw on social media happening to the students was bothering me.
No one sent me. No one funded me. No one asked me to be there.
I stood at Jantar Mantar because patriotism, to me, isn’t measured by what you post from a distance, but by whether you’re willing to stand up when your conscience calls.

Years from now, I may remember many things differently. But I will never regret being present for what felt like one of the most honest, organic expressions of people finding their voice.
The future of this nation belongs to all of us. And sometimes, the most patriotic thing you can do is simply show up.
