Tickets for the first T20 match between India and West Indies on October 6 range from Rs. 399 to Rs. 13,500

Lucknow: Cricket fans in Lucknow are gearing up for an exciting evening as India take on the West Indies in the first T20 International on October 6 at Ekana Cricket Stadium. Preparations are in full swing for the first T20 International match between India and West Indies, scheduled for October 6 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium. Excitement among all cricket fans has surged following the launch of match tickets on Saturday evening. The Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association organized a ticket launch ceremony and a press conference on Saturday.
During the press conference, UPCA Secretary Prem Manohar Gupta stated that all necessary preparations for successfully hosting the match are being completed rapidly. He mentioned that the starting price for tickets is Rs. 399, while the most expensive ticket—for Blocks A and B of the South Lounge—is priced at Rs.  13,500.
UPCA Treasurer Sachin Anand Shukla announced that online ticket sales for the India vs. West Indies match have commenced. Spectators can purchase tickets via the ‘District’ app (by Zomato). Online sales began on Saturday evening.

He noted the immense enthusiasm among cricket fans for the India-West Indies clash and expressed hope that a large number of spectators would attend the match at Ekana Stadium. Special arrangements are also being made to ensure excellent facilities for the audience during the game at Ekana.
Mohammad Fahim ji, Chairman of the UPCA Media Committee, stated that the association is fully committed to hosting the international match successfully and systematically. He added that every effort is being made to provide a fantastic experience for Lucknow’s cricket fans during the match. He also expressed optimism that Ekana Stadium would continue to host international cricket matches in the future.
Speaking on the occasion, Uday Sinha, CMD of Ekana Sports City, said that preparations at the stadium are proceeding rapidly. Arrangements are being finalized with a focus on spectator convenience, safety, and an enhanced match-viewing experience. Shukla ji said the association expects a large turnout at Ekana Stadium and is making special arrangements to ensure spectators have a comfortable and enjoyable experience during the match.

Mohammad Fahim ji, Chairman of the UPCA Media Committee, said the association is committed to hosting the international fixture in a smooth and organized manner. He added that every effort is being made to deliver a memorable experience for cricket fans in Lucknow and expressed hope that Ekana Stadium would continue to attract international matches in the future.

Uday Sinha, CMD of Ekana Sports City, said preparations at the venue are progressing at a fast pace. According to him, arrangements are being finalized with particular attention to spectator convenience, safety and an enhanced match-viewing experience at Ekana.

With ticket sales now underway, anticipation is building among cricket fans across Lucknow ahead of the October 6 India-West Indies first T20I.
