UP RTE Admission 2026: Registration for admissions under RTE to start from February 2nd, prepare all related documents

Lucknow(Vatsal Verma) : In Uttar Pradesh, 25 percent of seats under the Right to Education Act are reserved for economically weaker sections, disadvantaged groups, and underprivileged classes. Parents belonging to these categories can register online for admissions starting February 2nd. The first phase of the application process for admissions to pre-primary and Class 1 in private schools in Uttar Pradesh under the Right to Education will begin on February 2, 2026. Parents from disadvantaged groups and underprivileged classes can fill out the application form online to enroll their children. The last date for applications for the first round is February 16, 2026.

Process to be completed in several phases…………
The UP RTE admission process will be completed in three to four phases. Dates for all phases have been released. The process for the first round will be from February 2nd to 16th, for the second round from February 21st to March 7th, and for the third round from March 12th to March 25th. The lottery for the first phase will be held on February 18th, the second phase lottery on March 9th, and the third phase lottery on March 29th.

Parents who wish to enroll their children should prepare the necessary documents as soon as possible to avoid any problems during the admission process. Some of the main documents include income certificate, caste certificate, residence certificate, and the child’s birth certificate.

Eligibility for filling the form…………...
Under UP RTE, the child’s age should be three to four years for Nursery, four to five years for LKG, five to six years for UKG, and six to seven years for Class 1. The age will be calculated as of April 1, 2026.
